Darrin's Halloween

“ROAR!” Darrin jumped out in front of his mom. “Whoa! Darrin, you look great! Are you ready for your Halloween party?” Darrin was wearing his Halloween costume, a lion. “Yeah, I am,” Darrin answered. “Okay,” she answered, trusting him.
Ding-dong-diiing-dooong!!!  The doorbell rang. “Yay, they’re here, Mommy,” he ran to go answer the door. Outside were four scary creatures, a witch, a bat, a black cat, and a sheet-over-the-head ghost. Darrin asked, “Who are you guys?” He couldn’t tell who anyone was from all their masks. The ghost answered, “Hey Darrin! We’re Samantha, Daniel, Alice, and I’m Alan,” he pointed at everyone. They took off their masks and showed Darrin their faces. Darrin’s mom told them, “Come in! It must be freezing out there,”
After all of the guests came, they ate all the snacks, played all the party games, and left, Darrin flopped into the most comfortable chair. “What’s the matter, honey?” Darrin’s mom asked him. “The party was too much, well, party-like,” Darrin answered. Darrin’s mom laughed. Darrin smiled. “Maybe it was, maybe it was,” Darrin’s mom carried him up to his bed. He fell asleep.
