Darrin, Watch Out For Paint

Darrin woke up with cob-webs filling his head. He walked into his newly-painted blue bathroom and splashed water on his face. Plop! Darrin felt something wet on his head. He looked up. Plop! It was paint, and another drop just fell on his nose. “Gross,” he exclaimed.
He walked into his mother’s bathroom. He washed the new blue paint off his face and the top of his head. He walked back to his bedroom and tripped on the paint can. Blue paint spilled all over Darrin’s legs and up to his shell. “Gross, this is so gross!” Darrin yelled. Darrin’s mom came out into the dark and shouted, “Go to sleep Darrin! It’s only seven o’ clock!” She didn’t see Darrin on the floor covered with paint and tripped over him. “Ouch! Darrin? Is that you?” she questioned. “Yes, Mom it is. I’m covered with new blue paint,” he replied. “Sorry, honey,” Darrin’s mom flicked on the lights. “Sorry again darling,” she got up and helped him up, “But you should really watch out for paint,” They both laughed. “I know Mom,” giggled Darrin.
