Darrin? What about me?

"I'm going to go play with Lenny and Bernard," Darrin noted. "Okay," Darrin's mom answered. "What about me?" asked Susie, Darrin's little sister. "You can't play basketball!" said Darrin, getting his coat.

"Let's play hopscotch!" Darrin told Lenny. "What about me?" asked Bernard. "You're not a good jumper," said Darrin, picking up chalk. "I'll go play some soccer with Gary," said Bernard, sadly.

"I'm going to get ice cream," Darrin told Lenny. "What about me?" asked Lenny. "You don't like Rocky Road, that's all I'm going to get," Darrin told Lenny. "Oh," Lenny sighed with disappointment.

Later, while Darrin was eating his ice cream, he thought about his day. He made everyone very sad. Even his little sister. He had an idea.

"Susie!" Darrin ran to his favorite little turtle, "Let's go play basketball!" "But I can't," she told him. "I'll teach you," Darrin exclaimed.

"Bernard! Bernard!" He skipped to the soccer field. "Let's play hopscotch!" "But, I'm not a good jumper," he replied. "That's okay, I'll help you," Darrin shouted with delight.

"Lenny! Let's go! Let's go!" Darrin pounced to his seahorse friend. "Where?" He asked. "Ice cream, with all our friends!" He pointed to Susie and Bernard. "I don't like Rocky Road," he pointed out. "I'll get whatever you like!" Darrin said. "Okay!"

Darrin and his friends never had a better day!
